I started working at K West Hotel & Spa 2 years ago in the housekeeping department. I had no hotel experience at the time and now I’m an F&B Shift Leader. K West is a great place to work and just a great place to be. The employees and the management here are a unique and exceptional group of people, who genuinely love what they do and care deeply for each other. I have met a lot of friendly, cool people from different countries, and this has been really interesting for me. Together we work hard and we have fun. There’s a great team spirit. My first day at K West was in July 2008, soon after I arrived in London. With no experience and no knowledge about working in the spa, I was given the great chance of developing myself in that direction. What’s more, I had the opportunity to improve my skills as a teacher, while preparing and leading an English language course for my colleagues from other departments.
